AAMA : Blogs : Pertinent and Engaging Topics Abound at AAMA 2014

Based on the results of our recent member survey, we know that you want AAMA events to address leading industry trends and solutions while providing critical peer-to-peer networking opportunities. AAMA 2014: The National Summit of Medical Administrators, taking place February 25-28, 2014, at the newly renovated Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, is built to provide ample time for discussions, idea sharing, and networking surrounding the most relevant industry themes and solutions. AAMA knows that the education of healthcare leaders depends on dialogue around pertinent and engaging topics and creating applicable content. This year’s conference will feature industry hot topics such as:

  • Impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
  • Coding and Compliance
  • Physician and Provider Relationships
  • Clinical Issues
  • Promoting Quality of Care

As a departure from the AAMA conference of years past, these topics and others will be explored from a variety of new perspectives with a much larger range of new research, data and information. We will be displaying an entirely new collection of educational formats designed to maximize attendee takeaways and learning experience. You will attend plenary sessions, participate in panel discussions as well as round-table discussions facilitated by subject matter experts. Two particular highlights new in 2014 are “Oral Short Talks” and a Poster Exhibit and reception. These two new media will serve to support and enhance presentations made through the major sessions. They will work to enhance and enrich the educational value of this year’s conference.

Content at this year’s event will address not only the interests of each of our seven colleges, but also issues relevant to both military and non-military Medical Administrators. The 2014 conference boasts a roster of impactful industry leaders, forward-thinking students and innovators from all areas of medical administration. The attendees of this conference will be thought leaders – participating in and contributing to the evolution of this vital field. This is the one medical administration conference that cannot be missed.

Mark your calendars now and plan to join us in Las Vegas in 2014. Registration and the full session schedule will be available soon on the AAMA website, so check back soon!
