Call for Award Nominations

Every member of the Academy is eligible for nomination for one or more recognition awards. Obtain a nomination form from the Academy (847/759-8601) or from the Winter 2001 (p. 23) issue of the AAMA Executive. Nomination deadline is July 1. 

Award Descriptions

The deadline for entries for the Student Research Paper of the Year and the Faculty Publication of the Year has been extended until July 1. Contact Membership Director  Ginger Burns by e-mail or call 847/759-8601 for details.

August 1 Deadline Set for Regional Director Nominations

The Academy’s Nominating Committee has issued a call for nominations for Directors of Regions II, IV, VI. Nominations should be forwarded, by August 1, to the Nominating Committee, c/o AAMA Headquarters, 701 Lee St. Suite 600, Des Plaines, IL 60016, or faxed to 847/759-8602. Letters of acceptance, accompanied by a 150-word statement for the ballot, are due by August 10.

      Have you been a member of the Academy for four years? Then you’re eligible to apply for Fellow status (FAAMA). If you’ve been a Fellow for at least one year, you can apply for Diplomate. And if you act now, and meet the requirements, you can advance in 2001 at the 44th Annual Conference in Las Vegas. Advancement criteria. Questions?       The American College of Cardiovascular Administrators also offers its members the opportunity to advance to Fellow, FACCA. Information is available from Academy headquarters.
