Special Alert on HCFA Chest Pain Center Reimbursement
In service to our members, the AAMA specialty group American College of Cardiovascular Administrators (ACCA) is attuned to changes in federal laws, guidelines and reimbursement as they relate to cardiovascular medicine. In that light, we’d like to alert you to some important forthcoming changes in HCFA reimbursement related to chest pain centers. We have heard that the changes may be favorable and urge you to review them when published. They are due to be detailed in the July publication of the Federal Register.
