Director, Business Development for Cardio & Vascular

The newly created position reports to the CFO and will work closely with the
physicians, administrative team, clinical staff, foundation employees, organizational managers and external agencies in growing this service line. Qualified candidates will have three to five years of clinical or administrative experience in cardio and vascular services with a proven track record of successfully growing a cardio and vascular product line. The ability to build strong physician relations is a must.  A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business or related field is required, master’s preferred.

The not-for-profit, integrated Healthcare System provides state-of-the-art medical care to a 12-county primary service area consisting of 300,000 residents.  With over 100 physicians on active staff, the 410-bed, JCAHO-accredited hospital provides a full range of services. The Community of 20,000 has a small town atmosphere with the amenities of a much larger city. Natural and man-made resources allow residents to pursue a variety of activities including fishing, hunting, boating and golfing.

Interview and relocation expenses will be paid by the facility.  There is no
charge to you for our services.  $105,000 with 25% bonus potential.

Our client, Enloe Medical Center, is looking for a dynamic administrator to lead Cardiovascular Services. A successful, quality-based program, Enloe’s Heart Program mortality rates are 50 percent less than the state and national average. Located in Chico, California, Enloe Medical Center offers a full continuum of health services and is the area Level II Trauma Center. The Administrator coordinates the Cardiovascular Service Line, promotes service excellence, and focuses on program growth. He/She creates a collaborative environment and a common vision. The Administrator leads business development efforts and provides financial oversight for the entire service line. Marketing of the program, community activities, and physician recruitment are key responsibilities. Reporting to the CEO, the Administrator provides leadership for: CHF Program (in development), Coronary Care Unit, Cardiac Surgery, Cath Lab, Cardiology, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Echocardiography Lab, Cardiac Rehab, EP Lab, Chest Pain Center, and the DCU-Clinical Care Unit. The Candidate must be a dynamic, strategic thinker who has a collaborative
approach. Experience with successful marketing plans, program planning,
physician relations, community outreach, and budget management. Master’s

required.
