Want to start up and build the first heart surgery and
interventional cardiology program for 335-bed Indian River Memorial
Hospital, (www.irmh.org) the only not-for-profit community hospital in its
County located in beautiful Vero Beach, Florida (http://vero-beach.fl.us)?
This program is affiliated with Duke University Health System, which will
provide ongoing assistance and consultation for cardiovascular program
design and operation. The Duke team will work collaboratively with the
Director of Cardiovascular Services to ensure the success of the program.

We seek an individual who has built a heart surgery and interventional
cardiology program. Must have matrix/service line management experience.
Interventional cardiologists and a cardiothoracic surgeon are currently
being recruited with the intent that the program will begin next fall.

Reporting to the EVP/Chief Operating Officer, the Director must be able to
plan, direct, manage and lead all aspects of a cardiovascular program from
operational, financial and clinical quality perspectives. Demonstrated
clinical leadership, superior physician interaction skills, hands-on
management, and process management and leadership will all be strengths of the successful candidate. Masters degree in health, business or nursing
administration required.

Lake County seeks to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to perform
especially challenging work assisting in the County’s long-term healthcare
facility. The CFO functions as a staff manager and is responsible for
implementing administrative strategies, monitoring financial performance,
supervision of personnel, preparation of the annual budget, generation of
reports, act as a liaison for information processing issues, coordination of

to Winchester House in meeting the challenges of today and tomorrow’s
long-term care industry. This person will work with the Board, community and
staff on defining the mission of Winchester House and providing direction.
The Nursing Home Administrator functions as a department head and reports
directly to the County Administrator’s office. The Nursing Home
Administrator is responsible for the efficient operation for the entire
facility which includes the design and implementation of strategic plans,
enforcement of policies and procedures, development and implementation of an
annual budget, management of nursing home personnel, resident records,
maintenance of the building and equipment, accurate and timely collection of
Medicare, Medicaid and private pay reimbursements and most importantly
resident care.

Education and/or Other Requirements:
·Completion of a Master’s degree program in public health, business
administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
·Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in health care
administration.
·Possession of a Nursing Home Administrator License from the State of

The Service Area Director, Cardiac & Vascular Services administers
the managerial and leadership functions of setting objectives, planning,
staffing, and directing activities of assigned departments/areas of
responsibility. The Service Area Director, Cardiac and Vascular Services is
accountable for providing leadership in cardiac and vascular program
development and growth. The position is responsible for volume growth,
clinical and financial management, improving quality outcomes, and increased customer satisfaction for both physicians and patients. The position has direct operational responsibility for the Cath Labs, Cardiodiagnostic Services, Diabetes Center, Diabetic Foot Center and Cardiac Rehab. The position collaborates with Operations Directors/Managers of the inpatient units (e.g., ICU/CCU, Medical/Surgical), Vascular Lab, Specials and Cardiac Surgery to ensure overall coordination of care and program/process improvement.
