We have been retained by St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, Georgia to recruit a new Director of Cardiovascular Services. St. Joseph’s/Candler is a $350MM net revenue health system comprised of two acute care hospitals, each licensed for over 300 beds, and seven other corporations. The system has a stable management team, a strong balance sheet and many new and innovative services including a brand new cancer center and national awards and designations including the AHA Foster G McGaw Award, the AHA Nova Award and Magnet Designation for excellence in nursing. The system is affiliated with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, H.Lee Moffitt Cancer Institute in Tampa, Florida and Emory University in Atlanta.
The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the overall management of the health system’s invasive and non-invasive cardiology services including the Cath Labs, EP Lab, Cardiology Non-invasive Testing, Catheterization-Recovery Unit and Peripheral Vascular Procedural areas. This is a brand new position and is responsible for 26 FTE’s.
Candidates should have a master’s degree in healthcare administration or business and 5 to 7 years of clinical management experience including experience in cardiovascular services. Founded in 1733, Savannah enjoys a rich history dating back to Colonial times. It has a subtropical climate that ensures year round outdoor activities. The area has excellent schools, reasonable home prices and many residential developments that dot the coastal areas and islands in the Savannah area.
