On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Administrative Director, Heart Institute to lead their comprehensive cardiology care program. Saint Joseph HealthCare campuses include Saint Joseph Hospital with 446 beds and Saint Joseph East with 174 beds. On the main campus of the 446-bed flagship includes the Saint Joseph Heart Institute. The Institute is the forefront of cardiac care providing services for over 12,000 patients annually undergoing cardiac caths, angioplasty or other interventional procedures. We are seeking an accomplished, visionary service line leader with a demonstrated history of successfully leading and implementing cardiac programs in a hospital or health system. He/she must possess strong clinical business skills with a track record of growing volumes and improving service line function and profitability. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of five + years clinical and management experience in a large, high volume department. A Bachelors degree is required, and a Masters degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration is highly preferred.

The Saint Thomas Heart Institute performs 2,400 open-heart procedures annually, more than any other facility in the state.
The Executive Director will be an innovative, strategic thinker who continually evaluates competitive cardiac services and monitors changes in the marketplace. Eight to ten years of previous cardiac business management experience, with significant marketing and planning experience required.
