Saint Francis Medical Center, a nationally recognized tertiary care medical center, is a regional leader in obstetrics and neonatal care, cancer care, heart services, neurosciences, orthopedics and emergency services.  Saint Francis Medical Center serves more than 450,000 people in the five-state area of Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas.  The Director, Cancer Services reports to the Vice President of Professional Services.  The Director is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all activities (administrative and clinical) within Cancer Services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy, mission, values and strategic initiatives of Saint Francis Medical Center.  This position will also oversee a medical oncology practice.  The Director oversees a wide variety of regulatory, administrative and fiscal activities, both internally and externally, and will provide strong leadership, motivation, and staff development to Cancer Services staff.  We are seeking an oncology service line executive with at least five years of leading an oncology program.  A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.

Consisting of over 300 physicians in 50 specialties, Carle Clinic Association is currently the second largest outpatient treatment center in Illinois. With ten regional clinics, Carle services approximately 2 million residents in 42 counties surrounding Urbana, Illinois.

To provide continued leadership in an established, facility, Carle is seeking an individual with experience in health care management to direct operations at the Bloomington/Normal campus. The 32 providers at this site conduct over 160,000 visits each year and generate $40 million in charges. This director-level position will guide the daily operations as well as work collaboratively with the Chief Medical Officer to determine strategic initiatives. Other responsibilities include the personnel management of 160 employees, budgetary preparation and review, and effective communication with physicians and staff.

The desired candidate will have a minimum of 5 years progressive management experience in a physician office setting. MBA or MHA preferred with an emphasis in business administration or a health related field. As the top non-physician leader at this facility, the individual in this role must serve as a representative of the organization in the community and be able to independently problem solve complex issues. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.

Bloomington/Normal is centrally located between Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis. With a population over 110,000, these twin cities are home to two universities and the corporate headquarters of State Farm Insurance.

An exciting new position is being created for a two-physician, fast-paced, growing, diagnostic and interventional cardiology group in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. Currently, we are located in a freestanding new facility with two physicians, one physician assistant, and seven staff members. Northeast Florida Cardiovascular Clinic has a great reputation and has been in existence for over fourteen years. Recently we have added a second physician, and have future plans to take on at least two more physicians, expand to a second location with an outpatient diagnostic cath lab, and add the necessary supportive administrative staff.

We require that all applicants have at least two years experience in medical administration, preferably in cardiology. A minimum of a college degree is required. Someone with great organizational skills, strong leadership qualities, innovative ideas, a professional attitude, and who is business savvy would be invaluable to our practice.
