Aptium Oncology at The Beth Israel Comprehensive Cancer Center – West Side Campus, a comprehensive multi-disciplinary, multi-specialty cancer center which is part of Continuum Cancer Centers of New York seeks an Operations Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical practices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managerial oversight of the practice operations, recommending and implementing process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, budget management, and ensuring optimal physician, patient and staff satisfaction.
Candidate must have previous experience working within a matrix reporting model and managerial experience working with both union and non-union employees. Must be proficient in preparing and evaluating analytical reports reflecting the program’s operations and effectively using such reports to monitor and improve effectiveness.
The ideal candidate must have strong problem solving skills, be able to work in a fast-paced clinical practice environment and be able to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team approach. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s strongly preferred, a minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership with at least 5 years managerial experience in hospital, ambulatory or healthcare operations, required. Must also possess a strong knowledge of patient care operations, fiscal management health care insurance requirements, as well as, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
