Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics (TMC), a fully integrated health system, seeks an Administrator for the Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital. Located in Tyler, TMC has been the leader in heart care in east Texas for the past two decades, and performed more than 13,000 open-heart surgeries. The Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital will begin construction in 2011. The total projected costs of the project are $25.4 million and will include 48,000 sqft of new construction and 8,000 square feet in shell space for future expansions. The hospital will be a free-standing building connected by a walkway to the acute care facility. The Administrator will provide leadership, vision, and direction for all activities of the heart hospital while providing exceptional quality, unparalleled patient service, and market growth in east Texas through the provision of its cath labs and heart hospital services.

UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School is currently seeking a Director of Administration to direct all administrative and operational aspects of the Department of Neurology and Neurosciences.

You will be responsible for all fiscal functions of the Department inclusive of preparing/overseeing budgets, federal and foundation grants, statistics/financial reports, monitoring expenditures/revenues, and developing/overseeing measures and standards of cost control. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying/resolving administrative/operational problem areas, developing/maintaining key working relationships and for all administrative aspects of patient care provided at University Hospital as well as the Department’s Academic Program.

Qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration or a related field plus five years of experience in coordinating administrative and fiscal activities, expediting programs, assessing personnel and formulating policies in a health care environment. At least three years must be within a managerial capacity. Outstanding human relations and leadership skills, and the ability to function in a team environment required. Demonstrated knowledge is necessary of how to accomplish superior performance in a unionized environment. A strong background in health care finance is desirable. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year- for-year basis.

The plans include a new Women and Children’s Tower to open January, 2011.

The Vice President of Cardiovascular Services (VPCS) reports to the System Chief Operating Officer. The VPCS has system responsibility and accountability for the development, implementation and evaluation of the complete cardiovascular service line. The selected candidate will possess seven plus years of management experience running a heart and vascular program.     He/She will possess experience and a proven track record developing and managing programs.  It is preferred the candidate have a BSN.  A graduate degree in nursing, healthcare, business administration, public health or a related field is strongly preferred.
