The AAMA Foundation Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the organization. Each member of the Foundation’s Board is a member of the AAMA Board of Directors. Funding and Donations The Foundation has been funded over the years by donations, large and small, by individual members of AAMA, by charitable foundations, and by our corporate partners. The Foundation strives to provide healthcare administrators with the educational programming they need to maintain a competitive edge. AAMA member contributions help make the Foundation “an impelling force or strength” for the development, production and dissemination of new educational programs. Together, AAMA members can Build Momentum to ensure that the profession can meet today’s challenges and be ready for the challenges of tomorrow. To be a positive force in the future of healthcare operations and administration, members may contribute to the Foundation on their membership dues renewal form, online or directly. Show your support and commitment to the advancement of healthcare operations and administration through education and research. Contributions are tax deductible. The Foundation welcomes the sponsorship of special programs by corporations that require the use of a 501(c)(3) organization to make contributions. Tax Status The Foundation is incorporated as a Not For Profit Corporation in the State of Illinois and is exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. Contributions to the AAMA Foundation are considered charitable contributions under IRC section 170 and tax deductible as provided by law. The AAMA Foundation is committed to providing the highest level of educational opportunities for AAMA members.
