Revised Submission and Style Guidelines for AAMA Executive Online and AIM
The “AAMA Executive Online Peer Reviewed Healthcare Article Submission Guidelines” and the “AAMA Style/Editing Guidelines for Publications” were both revised recently. The revised Guidelines can be found on the AAMA website at Submission Guidelines, and Style and Editing Guidelines, respectively.

Recredentialing Reminders
- It’s Not Too Late for 2005 Earned or Recredentialed CAAMAs to Recredential in 2008
Don't forget that to maintain your CAAMA earned or recredentialed in 2005, you must recredential by December 31, 2008 (extensions granted on a case-by-case basis), as well as keep your AAMA membership up-to-date.
- CAAMAs Earned or Recredentialed in 2006 Need to Recredential in 2009
Avoid the rush and don’t risk loosing your hard earned credential. Recredential early to maintain your CAAMA earned or recredentialed in 2006. You must recredential by December 31, 2009, and maintain your membership.

- Congratulations to the following AAMA members on their promotions in the U.S. Navy in 2008: Youssef Aboul-Enein and Cynthia Granby have promoted to Commander. Darryl Green, Rona Green, Lisa Labermeyer, and Danielle Wooten have been promoted to Lieutenant Commander.
- CDR Youssef Aboul-Enein, MSC, USN, FAAMA, has recently published an essay entitled, "Lessons from the 1941 Anglo-Iraqi Revolt: An Analysis of the Writings of Iraqi Army Officer and Military Historian, Mahmood al-Durrah” in the November-December 2008 edition of the U.S. Army Journal ARMOR. In addition, he was acknowledged in the latest Naval Institute press release NavCivGuide: A Handbook for Civilians in the United States Navy, authored by Thomas Cutler. CDR Aboul-Enein continues to serve as a Defense Department counter-terrorism advisor.
