Cone Health, located in Greensboro, NC, is an integrated health care organization positioned to be a national leader in delivering measurably superior patient care. We employ over 8,000 people in our five Magnet-certified hospitals, employed physician practices and outpatient facilities. Our multi-site, regional oncology program serves 3,000 new cancer patients a year, providing state-of-the-art radiation oncology services including stereotactic radiosurgery, extensive medical oncology and hematology services, laboratory and pharmacy, clinical research, and patient support services.

We are recruiting a Vice President, Oncology Services that will report to the system’s Chief Operating Officer and work collaboratively with the Medical Director, Oncology Services to create and maintain a multi-site service line positioned to achieve triple aim performance in quality, service and cost.

The Vice President, Oncology Services is responsible for: creating a financially sustainable, high-quality system of care, leading nearly 200 staff members to deliver outstanding patient care and service on a consistent basis; implementing the oncology strategic plan, identifying opportunities for additional program development and quality improvement; and taking ultimate responsibility for daily operations in all oncology services sites.

Qualified candidates must possess an MBA, MHA or related Master’s degree, plus a minimum of five years of oncology service line experience in a large, complex medical center or similar enterprise, including developing strategic and business plans, directing managed care and business development activities, overseeing large staffs, and interacting successfully with physician groups. Experience leading a multi-site cancer program is preferred. Residency or relocation to greater Greensboro, NC area is required.

Our client, Resurrection Health Care, has retained F-O-R-T-U-N-E to recruit an outstanding System Service Line Vice President of Cardiovascular Services.

A leading not-for-profit healthcare system, Resurrection Health Care in Chicago, comprises a network of five acute care hospitals, one LTAC hospital, the Resurrection Medical Group, community clinics, surgery centers, and several senior living facilities. 

Summary:

The System Service Line Vice President will have a proven track record of leadership and team success leading Cardiovascular Service Lines.  This key position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all clinical and business initiatives for RHC’s newly created Cardiovascular Service Line for the system.  Working collaboratively with physician management partners and RHC stakeholders, the successful candidate will create the vision and lead the strategic planning process for this service line.

Demonstrated success in supporting and achieving results in clinical quality, service excellence, market share, financial performance, and positioning for the future are required.  We seek a candidate with strong strategic, operational, and process improvement skills.

Compensation:

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or a Business-related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of proven leadership experience and team success leading Cardiovascular Service Lines.
