Vantage Oncology, a provider of Oncology services in partnership with physicians and hospitals nationwide, is looking for an experienced Manager of Operations for our treatment centers in Mokena.  Medical oncology experience is required for this position.

The role requires the creation of strong partnerships with physicians and clinics located in the Chicago area, paying particular attention to the facility’s unique identity.  Areas of responsibility include: increasing the quality of care and services offered to patients, maximizing reimbursement, effectively managing the operations of multiple centers, and achieving strong financial performance by generating new revenue, and containing costs, participating in the development of the clinics’ strategic plans; establishing collaborative working relationships across all treatment center functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care; providing direction and overseeing the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care; and actively managing personnel issues including hiring, performance management, and general supervisory issues

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with physicians; effective leadership is an essential key to success.  Other requirements for the position:  BA/BS; 3+ years of management experience; 5+ years in cancer services business, with medical oncology experience a must; the ability to function at a strategic level but also to execute in a hands-on fashion; strong financial acumen.  A clinical background is desired, but not required.

The VP will be responsible and accountable for the senior level oversight of multiple cardiovascular clinical service lines at McLeod Regional Medical Center.  The successful candidate would provide operational leadership and direction to the Associate VPs and Directors within the service line to insure effective fiscal management, effective labor management and productivity, leadership development, goal directed quality outcomes management, and regulatory compliance. Requirements include:  Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree in Health Administration or related field required; experience in Cardiovascular Service; a minimum of seven years experience in progressive leadership experience; varied clinical and hospital operational background experiences required.
