AAMA Fun Run/Walk: Wednesday, November 16, 2011, 6:00 am

Get your mind and body moving before the educational sessions on Wednesday morning. Join friends and colleagues for a quick run and/or walk on the beautiful Scottsdale trails! The starting location will be clearly marked on site.

• Walk: ½ mile on the trail and back (1 mile total)
• Run: Pick up the pace and run 1 mile on the trail and back (2 miles total)
• Please keep an eye on your distance and time. Continental breakfast starts at 7:00 am. The opening ceremonies begin at 7:45 am.
• During this time of year, sunrise is typically 7:00 am with morning temperatures averaging 60-65 F.

AAMA Foundation Conference Scholarship

The AAMA Research & Educational Foundation offers two scholarships for this conference. The scholarship covers the cost of registration. Travel, non-conference meals and hotel expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. Applicants must be AAMA members. Applications will be considered based on financial need. Obtain scholarship application from our website, or request a form from AAMA headquarters. Return completed form to AAMA headquarters by September 9, 2011.

Continuing Education

American Academy of Medical Administrators Research & Educational Foundation is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Illinois Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Please note: Contact hours are for reporting hours of education programming attended, and are not equivalent to points used in AAMA advancement programs.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing by October 21, 2011, to qualify for a refund. A $50.00 processing fee will be deducted. Non-Members canceling before October 21, 2011, will be charged the $50.00 processing fee; the complimentary 2012 AAMA membership will be voided. After October 21, 2011, no refunds will be provided. No-shows will be billed. Occasionally, changes in the conference may be made due to speaker availability, participant demand or unforeseen circumstances. While AAMA will do everything possible to ensure participant satisfaction, AAMA's liability is limited to the registration fee only.
